Arrival to Amman International Airport, meet and assist by our representative, then transfer to the Hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.

Amman city tour - Desert Castles - Amman
Breakfast, start our tour by city tour of Amman which includes the Amphitheater, Citadel, Folklore Museum and Gold Market. continue the tour to visit a few of the desert castles; In the 7th and 8th centuries the Umayyad Caliphs built the Muslim treasures known as the Desert Castles, east of Amman. There are six all together: Mushatta, Kharana, Muwaggar, Amra and Tuba in Jordan, and the sixth is at Khirbat Al Mafjar in Jericho. These were originally hunting lodges, but of course they were the height of luxury at that time. You may see beautiful mosaics and decorative carvings reflecting the rulers of the day. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.


Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Kerak - Petra
Breakfast, head to Madaba and Mt. Nebo before heading south to Petra. In the town of Madaba you will visit St. George the Apostle Church, home to a stunning mosaic map of the ancient Middle East. Afterwards continue to nearby Mount Nebo where you will visit the church on top of the hill from where, it is believed, Moses viewed the Promised Land. His tomb is also located at this site, as well as a beautiful array of mosaics in the floor of the church. You will be able to experience the spectacular panorama of the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Judean Hills, just as Moses did. Continue on to Petra, with a stop at Kerak. Kerak is a crusader fortress, built over older fortresses, located on the King's Highway in the area known in ancient times as Moab. The history during the Crusades of this fortress is filled with intrigue, treachery, and murder. But the history of this area goes back to the Iron Age and the ancient Nabateans. Dinner and overnight in Petra.


Petra
Breakfast, begin your exploration of Petra, the "Rose Red City." This incredible hidden city, inhabited by the ancient Nabateans, lay concealed from 100 AD until it was re-discovered in the early 1800's. Take a horse ride to the "Siq" (Canyon) entrance then walk the rest of the way through the narrow, winding cut in rocks into the valley. Your first glimpse of the magnificence of the place will be of the Treasury as you round the last bend on the pathway. The Treasury and the other buildings have been carved out of the canyon walls in the prink sandstone. Continue past the Roman Theatre, the Corinthian Tomb and the Palace Tomb. After exploring this amazing site, transfer to Wadi Rum Campsite for dinner and overnight with traditional entertainment of music and dancing.



Wadi Rum
Breakfast, enjoy a three hour Jeep tour in Wadi Rum, known for its geologic treasures as well as the abundant desert wildlife and plant life. After exploring the ancient landscape, transfer through Wadi Araba to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight.





Dead Sea - Amman
breakfast, Enjoy a morning at leisure, soaking in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, or perhaps indulging in one of the many spa services offered by the resort. In the afternoon you will depart to visit the site of Bethany where John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the River Jordan. It is also the site of village of John the Baptist. Continue to Amman for dinner and overnight.
